| Just thought heres a good place to put down targets if you dont have a blog, and achievements when your training pays off. It doesnt have to be parkour techniques, it can be strength targets, fitness, or anything else you can think of that may affect your training. Ill start the ball rolling...... Targets for June 2008: En force on thin bar Elephant lift (straight arms) |

| I think this topic is a great idea! Unfortunatelly, I've got an injury of ankle (because of too much running long distaces only on toes) so now I'm working only on upper parts of my body, mainly hands and arms. So, my quests fo june/july are: - muscle-up both arms in the same time on bar - hand walking (more than 3 steps grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr) - muscle-up with straight arms when hanging on the wall after cat-leap OK, this is all. This is already a lot! Hehe, I wish you all girls much courage for all your quests! Good luck! |

| Great thread. 1- Increase flexibility - hopefully achieve splits. 2- Kong (too scared, used to do it with ease.) 3- Travel for jams 4- Increase lower body and core strength |

| Yes nice thread=) . Climb-ups, generally from cat and on high walls . Kongs, would like to get them down . 360 turn vault to cat, that is the offender from which i hurt my knee for the second time!! . Speed vault, it's that whole being sideways thing haha . Working on flow through my movement That's all that i would like for now, incorperating them into my usual training is the plan, not drilling thes peticular movements |

| nice to read you are doing well Sprite personally I'm doing ti well with two handed muscle-ups on bars.. guess I still need to fully control the technique cause sometimes I'm still hanging from the bar as a fish out of the water |

| My Goals for the summer: 1: Learn to planche. 2: Get my fitness level up to what it used to be/higher. 3: Kongs - simply cant seem to get them. Also, theres a precision in a place called Bray that i tried and failed to be able to do. It wasnt large and i was extremely dissappointed in myself for not doing it. I plan to progress to being able to do that precision by the end of this summer. _________________ To fall is not to fail, You fail when you don't try.

3: Kongs are indeed a biatch, that's why i tried a side kong, i'd say we should keep working on monkey ups, move on to monkey vaults, and then move onto proper kongs from there
And hey, there are always going to be things that piss you off, you did the right thing by walking away from it, the second time i got hurt (as you know lol) i got pissed off cause i was SOO CLOSE to getting that really cool 360 turn vault to cat, but i should have walked away, i didn't and payed the price for pushing myself too hard.
Bottom line, put if behind you and come back to it whenever you feel good about it, and also if your not sure ask someone to spot you, i should have asked for a spotter with the side kong, not just cause it's a hard enough move, but more obviously.. because i'd never done it before, i was stupid, i payed the price again.
Anyways.. Peace to all Stay safe |
